Have you noticed anything else not working, I wonder if the fuse is shared with another circuit. I haven'#039t got a handbook or any access to wiring diagram unfortunately. The only other thing you could do is to try and follow the wiring from the fuse and the reverse light switch to see if it has rubbed through anywhere and causing a dead short. Unfortunately it might be a job for an

Hello, I get water in the boot in my MK5. I already excluded the rear lights, vents, grommet, bootlid seal. (I used clear silicon) Any more ideas ?? I have narrowed it down to where the water appears. See picture nbsp

i'#039ve now resolved this issue. since changing the master cylinder, i couldn'#039t get the clutch bleeded correctly. i kept pressure bleeding and pressure bleeding but the pedal would still feel terrible. i then found a single post about this online where someone had the same issue. they suggested to have the car tilted downwards, pressure bleed, tilt upwards and bleed again.

Due to the recent warm weather, I managed to drive the Golf... And I have to report the seating position (with the lower seats and steering wheel adapter) is awesome. I truly love it. I feel much more connected tot the car than previously. As of now, so after only a 15km (9 mile) drive, I have to say the mods are worth it. Compared to the driving position in my previous 7

Hey mjamallia sorry for the late reply, a bunch of other things on the car decided to stop working.
Turns out that there'#039s a hex nut holding the mounts in place on the rear, so I just held them in place with a wrench and managed to take the mounts off using the 24mm socket. nbsp I checked the mount centers, they do not have an Allen key hole but damn that would'#039ve made t

My GTI'#039s low pressure fuel line was beginning to split so I began the process of replacing it. Unfortunately I'#039m unable to fully seat it on the barbs of the high pressure fuel pump and wherever the other end goes.
Pic shows the progress I'#039ve made, the barb end was lubed with petroleum jelly before I began trying to seat the hose. It'#039s pretty stuck and I'#039m also havi

Hi All, I have a 2008 Golf V Variant with the 1.9 PD TDI BXE engine and a 5-speed manual JCR transmission. The car has approximately 372,000 km on it. Last year, it suddenly developed a loud humming/growling/whining noise above 70 km/h, which gets progressively louder as speed increases. [Here'#039s a video ( https:/
